Website UX Checklist for Software Companies

A software company website should explain what the company does, who it helps, what proof it has, and how a visitor can start a conversation.

1. Make the positioning obvious

The hero section should quickly answer: what do you build, who is it for, and why should the visitor care?

2. Give every service its own intent

A service page should not be a generic paragraph. It should explain the problem, deliverables, process, proof, and CTA.

3. Use case studies as proof

Case studies should show role, context, constraints, design decisions, and realistic outcomes without overclaiming.

4. Design the inquiry path

The contact page should guide the visitor to share the right information: product type, budget range, timeline, problem, and expected outcome.

5. Connect UX and SEO

Good headings, internal links, descriptive alt text, and specific page copy help both people and search engines understand the site.
